Antoine Cauche

Antoine Cauche was born in 1979 in Toulouse and graduated from the Newark Violin Making School in 2001. Until 2008 he was Patrick Robin’s student and assistant. He has now established his own workshop. His work has been recognised in the following International violin making competitions :
Three First Prizes for a baroque violin at the British Violin Making Association competition in London in 2004. A Gold medal for a cello and a Silver medal for a violin at the Violin Society of America in 2008. A Gold medal, the Sacconi Prize, for a viola in the Cremona Triennale in 2009. Cello prizes, at the Violoncelle en Seine competition, Paris 2010.
